I was using super.co, a very nice SaaS, but wanted to see if I could replace this subscription with a vibecoded alternative.
I asked ChatGPT how to add a chatbot to my website. It was hosted by super.so, a great SaaS that generates websites from Notion pages. To my surprise, ChatGPT told me the easiest way was to rewrite everything from scratch using an open source library.
So I asked Cursor to give it a try and got something working with Sonnet 4.5 almost immediately.
It took three evenings to go from zero to launch with feature parity and a much better polish than the original super.so version. The second versionâwhich added the chatbotâtook two more evenings.
